Weibring leads hard-charging Walzel

Bobby Walzel shot a five-under-par 66 and moved within one shot of DA Weibring after the second round of the Allianz Championship at the Glen Oaks Country Club.

Back injuries have plagued Walzel for most of 2004, keeping the 54-year-old away from the Champions Tour. But he is now within striking distance of Weibring, who shot a 68 to hold the lead for the second straight day at nine-under 133.

Tom Watson (68), Tom Jenkins (67) and Tom Kite (69) are tied for third place, four shots off the pace.
