Weir claims Canada's first major

Mike Weir last night claimed his first major title with a dramatic play-off victory over Len Mattiace in the 67th US Masters.

Weir triumphed at the first extra hole to become the first Canadian ever to win a major championship and the first left-hander to win a major since Bob Charles’ Open victory in 1963.
