Montgomerie leads at Wentworth

Colin Montgomerie made a dream start to the Volvo PGA championship at Wentworth today - after wondering whether he would be able to play at all.

Montgomerie, a three-time winner of the title, was a serious doubt for the £2m (€3.1m) event because of back trouble, but after 13 holes was a brilliant seven under par and three clear of the field.
