Golf: Torrance praise for Ballesteros

Sam Torrance today sang the praises of Seve Ballesteros as Ballesteros himself was saying what a shame it is that Europe would be without Jose Maria Olazabal at the Ryder Cup in September.

Ballesteros and Olazabal were the stars of the morning fourballs at the Seve Trophy in Ireland, with Ballesteros winning Continental Europe’s only point against Padraig Harrington and Paul McGinley by holing a 60-foot bunker shot at the 17th.
