Golf: Woosnam sacks caddy

Ian Woosnam has sacked caddy Miles Byrne after he failed to turn up on time for the final round in Malmo yesterday.

Byrne was blamed for Woosnam having too many clubs in his bag in the final round of the Open championship, a basic error that cost the Welshman a two-shot penalty and outright second place at Royal Lytham.
