Wexford club Professional Damian McGrane, who made the cut last night at the European Open at one over par, has picked up two strokes on his way to the turn this morning.

Wexford club Professional Damian McGrane, who made the cut last night at the European Open at one over par, has picked up two strokes on his way to the turn this morning.

McGrane had four birdies after two bogeys on the way out.

Eamon Darcy, another one of only four Irish players to be in action over the weekend, has started with a par 4 to remain at level par.

Padraig Harrington will tee off at 1.45pm with Darren Clarke due to start at 1.54pm.
