Golf: McGinley continues good form

Dungannon golfer Darren Clarke shot a level par round of 72 in the first

round of the Volvo PGA Championship at Wentworth yesterday.

Dubliner Paul McGinley continued his recent good form by recording a 66 to leave him in third place, three shots behind clubhouse leader Angel Cabrera.

Padraig Harrington is one shot behind his compatriot on five under par after holing birdies at the last two holes.

Damian McGrane carded an impressive 68 to finish the day four under par.
