Golf: Harrington hanging on to lead

Harrington has birdied the sixth to move to 12 under but still could not shake off the chasing pack.

Howell had bogeyed the eighth to drop back to nine under but Gilford took up the gauntlet with back-to-back birdies from the sixth to move up to 11 under and just one off the lead.

Forsyth had reached 10 under but had dropped his second shot of the day on the seventh to fall back alongside Howell on nine under with Garrido and Dyson another shot adrift.
