Tiger Woods has improved his chances of clinching the US Masters in Augusta after carding a six-under-par 66 in yesterday's second round.

That score left Woods tied with Phil Mickelson on eight under par, two shots behind leader Chris Di Marco, who carded a 69 yesterday.

Both Irish players also made the cut.

Darren Clarke's 67 left him in 13th place on five under, while Padraig Harrington's 69 left him on level par.
