Kevin Phelan second in Joburg Open
Sullivan claimed his second title in the space of eight weeks yesterday, carding a closing 66 to close out the deal. Sullivan finished 17, two shots ahead of compatriots David Howell and Anthony Wall, Phelan and South African pair Jaco van Zyl and Wallie Coetsee.
Phelan missed out on the British Open places due to his lowly world ranking, but had the consolation of securing a place in next week’s Africa Open by finishing in the top five.
