Ben Martin made an eagle on the 16th as he held off the pack to win the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas, his first PGA Tour title.

The 27-year-old vaulted to the top of the leaderboard with a 62 on Saturday but struggled to find his rhythm on the final day, allowing rivals to close up and pile on the pressure.

At one point there during the final hour there was a three-way tie with Webb Simpson and Kevin Streelman moving level.
