Comeback king Stricker wants ‘icing’

STEVE STRICKER joined an elite club of 23 members when he shot a Major championship record-equalling round of 63 for his first round at the PGA Championship.

And although he is yet to win a Major at the age of 44, the comeback king from Wisconsin says his late-blooming success is really just icing on the cake.

It is six years since Stricker tumbled down the world rankings and lost his PGA Tour card.
