Browne draws on McGinley’s tour strategy

IRISHMAN Stephen Browne is hoping to draw inspiration from his fellow Irishman Paul McGinley’s ten-tournament bid to make the Ryder Cup in order to join the 37-year-old on the European Tour next season.
Browne draws on McGinley’s tour strategy

Browne secured the first victory of his professional career at the European Challenge Tour’s Norwegian Challenge Open on Sunday, and, having played the last four events in a row, will play the closing eight tournaments of the Challenge Tour season in an attempt to break into the top 15 on the Rankings and win himself a European Tour Card for next season.

The 30-year-old from Dublin moved to 25th on the Challenge Tour rankings with €29,844, and is set to follow McGinley’s example of playing at every tournament in order to maximise the opportunities available to him.
