Mickelson believes his time has come

PHIL MICKELSON has revealed that a Californian test centre has given him the belief that he can finally end his search for a Major title at the Open this week.

It is hard to believe that the world number two has yet to finish in the top 10 of an Open.

Indeed, he has only ever finished in the top 20 once after nine attempts.
