One All-Ireland final down, one to go.

After the favourites Limerick outclassed the plucky underdogs Galway in the hurling decider last Sunday, the hotly tipped Kerry will be looking to do something similar against another somewhat surprise package in Mayo.

The Kingdom will be looking to retain the crown they claimed after defeating Donegal in the 2025 decider while for Mayo, they will be aiming to finally end their long, very publicised wait to get their hands back on Sam Maguire which stretches back to 1951.

After losing their last 11 All-Ireland senior football championship finals, will it be a case of 12th time lucky for the Connacht side? Or will the champions just have too much quality?

Throw-in has been set for 3.30pm on Sunday, July 26.

How many titles have they won?

Kerry will be looking to extend their record haul of titles to 40 while they have finished runners-up on 24 occasions. Mayo have won it three times, losing the decider on 15 other occasions, 11 of those since 1989.
