Tickets for Sunday week’s Division 1A and 1B final double-header in Limerick will be distributed through the Cork, Limerick, Clare and Dublin county boards.
As is the case for the opening three rounds of the Munster senior hurling championship, ticket applications will be made by clubs via their county boards. Any tickets remaining will be put on general sale at 3pm next Monday.
The games in Limerick are set to be a 43,850 sell-out with demand far outstripping supply two weeks out from the start of the provincial championships.
Given the heightened appeal of the Cork v Limerick game three weeks from their Munster SHC meeting in SuperValu Páirc Ui Chaomh, the decision to put the two games on the same bill has received criticism from the likes of former Cork and Tipperary players Patrick Horgan and Shane McGrath.
As part of one of their home-away agreements, Limerick are owed a final game by Cork going back to their previous league decider in Páirc Uà Chaoimh 46 years ago.
A sold-out crowd of 43,243 took in the Cork-Tipperary and Waterford-Offaly final double-header in SuperValu Páirc Uà Chaoimh last April when tickets went on general sale.
Crowds totalling over 136,000 attended Cork’s seven league games in 2025. This year, that figure is expected to rise to over 156,000.
