Newcestown into Cork Premier SFC semi-final as they overcome Carrigaline on penalties

And just like that, it was over. Éanna Desmond stepped up to take Carrigaline’s fifth penalty with both sides after scoring three and missing one in Pairc Uí Rinn on Sunday afternoon. Chris White, who was introduced at the end of extra-time, pushed it onto the post, meaning that over 80 minutes of enthralling championship football would be distilled down Luke Meade versus Callum Dungan.
