Galway are weighing up the possibility of appealing Darach Fahy’s retrospective one-match ban after a hearing found in favour of the recommendation of a penalty.
It is understood the county are awaiting a written decision on the case put in front of Tuesday’s Central Hearings Committee (CHC) meeting. However, Fahy is to be suspended for Sunday’s Leinster SHC final against Kilkenny for making contact with Dublin’s Andrew Jamieson-Murphy in last Sunday week’s provincial final round win in Parnell Park.
