Tipperary manager Liam Cahill makes two swaps from the Division 1A final for Sunday’s Munster SHC first round clash with Limerick in Thurles (4pm throw-in).
Willie Connors and Gearóid O’Connor, who were replaced in that 10-point defeat to Cork, make way for Darragh Stakelum and John McGrath.
After lining out for the U20s in their provincial win over Clare on Wednesday, Darragh McCarthy and Sam O’Farrell are in line to make their championship debuts against last year’s Munster winners.
Noel McGrath has recovered from a hand injury to be named on the bench in FBD Semple Stadium. Eleven began Tipperary’s last SHC outing 11 months ago, although five are expected to play in different roles on Sunday including Craig Morgan (corner-back to midfield), Darragh Stakelum (corner-forward to midfield) and Eoghan Connolly (midfield to full-back).
