Tipperary SHC: Moycarkey shock champions Loughmore on opening night

Moycarkey scored 1-3 just before half-time to take control of the game

Moycarkey Borris defeated two-in-a-row Tipperary SHC champions Loughmore-Castleiney 1-19 to 0-15 in their opening game of Group 2 at Templetuohy. 

The winners scored 1-3 just before half-time - the goal coming from David Costigan - to take control of the match. Loughmore fought back and were within two points 10 minutes into the second half. That was when Moycarkey pushed on again.
