Clare always get up for Limerick. There are bigger tests coming but it was the first time Clare have played with such intensity and fervour, which really sets up next Sunday against Cork.

Two‑time All‑Ireland–winning captain and former Dublin and Clare manager, Anthony Daly, is a much-respected pundit and columnist as well as ringmaster in chief on the hugely-popular Dalo’s Hurling Show.
I SPENT a really enjoyable day last Friday at the annual ‘Club Clare’ fund-raiser in the Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin. I was at Charlie Chawke’s table before going on a discussion panel with John Mullane and the ‘Tullow Tank’ Seán O’Brien.
I’m no lover of rugby but I wasn’t going to declare that to the Tank for fear of getting rolled over.
