Limerick’s two-time All-Star-winning corner-back Barry Nash will make his first appearance in green since last summer’s Munster final for Sunday’s trip to Nowlan Park.

Nash’s inclusion is one of six changes to the Limerick team that overcame Tipperary at home the weekend before last.

Also coming in for their first involvements of 2025 are fellow defenders Mike Casey and centre-back Declan Hannon, as well as Cathal O’Neill in the half-forward line. Seamus Flanagan and Shane O’Brien, both coming into the full-forward line, complete the changes.

Kyle Hayes, who went off injured against Tipp, is not among the matchday 26.

Opponents Kilkenny have engaged in a significant shake-up of the side that went down to Galway, with seven players from that team not retained here.

Stepping in are goalkeeper Eoin Murphy, Tommy Walsh at corner-back, a new-look midfield pairing of Killian Doyle and Jordan Molloy, and forwards Billy Ryan, Stephen Donnelly, and Harry Shine.

David Clifford will make his first start of the year in Kerry’s Round 4 League assignment away to Tyrone. Clifford’s selection at corner-forward is one of four changes to the Kerry team that failed to protect an 11-point interval advantage at home to Dubin last Saturday.

Ruairí Murphy and Dylan Geaney also come into the forward unit, with Seán O’Shea, Conor Geaney, and Micheál Burns dropping out. O’Shea is not part of the named matchday 26.

Further back, Dylan Casey is picked at corner-back in place of Tom O’Sullivan. The latter, who came off injured early on against Dublin, will not be on the bus to Omagh. The returning Tony Brosnan of Dr Crokes is listed among the subs.

Elsewhere, Seán Brady for injured Maurice Shanley is the only change in the Cork side that started the win over Westmeath announced for Saturday’s Division 2 trip to Monaghan. Ballygarvan debutant Brady came in for Shanley towards the end of the first half last Saturday evening at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Among the subs is Cork hurler-turned-footballer Conor Cahalane who, if used off the bench at Inniskeen, would be making his first Cork football appearance at any grade.
