Former Tipperary goalkeeper Philly Ryan is set to be confirmed as the county’s new senior football manager.

“The Nenagh Guardian” have reported Ryan, who manned the posts for The Premier County for 13 seasons, is the recommendation of the football committee to replace Paul Kelly who stepped down after one season in charge.
