Fergal Boland remains unavailable for Mayo’s crucial preliminary quarter-final clash with Derry after an unsuccessful appeal against his two-game suspension.
The Mayo forward was sent off in the Round 2 group tie against Roscommon for striking with the elbow with force. Manager Kevin McStay said at the time he did not see the incident but initially felt it was mistaken identity.
