Galway boss Pádraic Joyce was left satisfied by a four-point win over Westmeath despite a mixed performance.

The away side were trailing at half-time and didn’t score for 15 minutes after the break, but a late Shane Walsh goal proved crucial as they ultimately won out 1-12 to 0-11.
