Sean O'Shea's Kenmare have been paired with local rivals Templenoe plus East Kerry neighbours Spa and Rathmore in the draws for this year's Kerry GAA club championships. The eight-team senior grade is a source of some contention in the Kingdom, with a review looming on whether there should be more senior clubs and less divisions in the county championship.

In Kerry's 2024 Senior Club championship, the second four-team group will feature a round-robin between reigning champions Dingle, Dr Crokes - with All-Ireland winning boss Pat O'Shea back in charge - 2023 IFC winners Milltown-Castlemaine and Na Gaeil.

Arguably of greater interest is the 16-team Intermediate championship, where the favourites Austin Stacks, Fossa, Legion and Kerins O'Rahillys have all been kept apart. Stacks will face Tralee rivals John Mitchels in Group 1 while O'Rahilly's - relegated from the SFC last year - are with Premier JFC winners Listowel, Kilcummin and Laune Rangers. Legion are joined by East Kerry neighbours Gneeveguilla and Glenflesk in Group 4.

The beaten Premier JFC finalists from last year, Ballymacelligott, will be fancied to emerge from their group that features St Senan's, Churchill and Renard.
