St Thomas’ win one of club hurling’s greatest contests 

Last Monday morning, Darragh O’Sullivan arrived in O’Moore Park from Waterford city to logistically plan for Saturday’s All-Ireland semi-final, going through every facet of their pre-match preparation in minute detail. Forensic planning and attention to every detail has been a hallmark of this team’s identity but, despite covering every angle possible, the last place Ballygunner probably expected to be was where they eventually found themselves late on Saturday night.
