A season hatched in Micheál Keohane’s back shed last December has brought Midleton to within an hour of county glory.

Holding court in Keohane’s shed in the depths of winter were Pádraig O’Shea, Aylwin Kearney, and Pat Walsh. The trio were considering a management ticket to oversee the Midleton hurlers in 2023. They wanted Keohane to front it.
