Former Kildare manager Cian O'Neill has revealed how he received a sneak peak of Normal People star Paul Mescal's acting ability during his brief stint on the panel.

Ex-Kerry coach O'Neill held trials after landing the Kildare job in late 2015 and underage star Mescal made the grade.
