Masters criticised Cork boss Brian Cuthbert on Twitter, saying: “I just read the article on the examiner and I totally agree with Ó Sé. Fintan Goold played the entire league at midfield and is then dropped.

"There is a ruthlessness as a manager but I think Cuthbert hasn't the trust of a lot of his players. I know I couldn't if I played the entire league and dropped the week of the Championship.

"U need a manager to have faith in his players and not have them thinking if they make a mistake they won't start t he next game."

He finished by saying: "I hope Cork do great this year but I really don’t think Cuthbert is up to it.”

The Munster Final takes place in Killarney on July 5 with Ó Sé giving the Rebels little hope of turning the tables on his native Kerry.

Speaking at the company’s “Shout from the Rooftop” launch the new Sunday Game pundit launched a stinging attack on the Cork footballers describing them as “a poor relation of Mayo in that you can’t trust Mayo, but you can’t trust Cork either”.

“Cork learned nothing from beating Clare at the weekend. If Kerry rattle them early they will be in disarray in Killarney. Put it like this- if Eamonn Fitzmaurice was in charge of Cork, I think you’d have a different Cork team. ”

The hard-hitting attack by multiple All-Star Ó Sé and his Nemo Rangers team mate Masters will certainly prove a talking point on Leeside.
