Donegal has a Jim “The Redeemer” statue

The people of Donegal have built an iconic statue (kinda) to show their faith in manager Jim McGuinness to lead them to the promised land of All-Ireland glory.

Ahead of next week’s football final this has appeared outside Laghey village in the county.

Football may be a religion in Kerry, but Donegal fans clearly believe that their spiritual leader is the one to bring Sam home to his people.
