A strong second half display ensured Oulart the Ballagh claimed a five-in-a-row of Wexford SHC titles, following a 3-12 to 1-16 win over St. Aidan's, Ferns at Wexford Park this afternoon.
Oulart began strongly with goals from Rory Jacob and Nicky Kirwan helping them to an early 2-2 to 0-2 lead but Ferns bounced back to move 0-12 to 2-4 ahead at the break.
Oulart moved 3-6 to 0-13 ahead thanks to a second goal from Kirwan 10 minutes after the restart.
A Paul Morris goal edged Ferns ahead, but Oulart dug deep with points from David Redmond and Jacob helping them to their 11th Wexford title.

The eventual winners led by 1-6 to 0-3 at the interval, but Plunkett's produced a strong second half display.
However, goalkeeper Peter Collins had a penalty saved early in the second half as Castletown-Geoghegan powered to their 12th county triumph.
