Brogan on top form as Dubs get better of Mayo

Dublin 2-14 Mayo 0-16

Bernard Brogan gave an exhibition of shooting as 14-man Dublin came out on top in a thoroughly entertaining tie in front of 21,156 people at Croke Park.

This game had everything you would want and there could not have been a better advertisement for Gaelic football or the Allianz Football League.

Dublin had Ger Brennan sent off for another bout of descending red mist and also saw Stephen Cluxton’s penalty saved by Kenneth O’Malley, but with Brogan registering 1-10 and Kevin McManamon coming off the bench to score a brilliant individual goal, Jim Gavin’s men maintained their 100% Division 1 record.
