Hurling League Division 3A and 3B round-up
Monaghan and Louth played out a draw and Fingal and Donegal recorded wins in Division 3A of the Hurling League, while Leitrim were winners over Longford in Division 3B.
Monaghan may have only secured one league point after they share the spoils with Louth on a 1-9 apiece scoreline at Inniskeen, but it was enough to see them claim top spot in Division 3A.
It was Louth's second stalemate in the space of a week after a draw with Sligo also away from home last time around.
Monaghan came into this game boosted by impressive victories over Donegal and Fingal, but were on the back foot in the opening half this afternoon.
Louth stormed into a 0-8 to 0-4 interval lead, but the second half saw Mattie Lennon's charges produce a spirited comeback.
Noel Morgan netted the hosts' lone goal, as they held Louth scoreless for 19 minutes.
Morgan's goal was the difference deep in injury-time until an Adrian Wallace goal ensured the sides were tied at the full-time whistle.
A brace of goals in either half helped Fingal take a 4-15 to 0-14 win over Tyrone at Fingallians, Swords.
Willie Burke's charges were hugely composed throughout this contest, as Tyrone failed to build on their unbeaten run coming into this game.
Six points separated the sides at the interval as Fingal led by 2-8 to 0-8, but it was a different story on the restart.
Buoyed by strong performances from John Michael Sheridan (1-7), Andrew Richardson (2-0) and Peter Daly (1-0), Fingal outscored the Red Hands by 2-7 to 0-6 on the restart.
Meanwhile in Division 3B , Leitrim earned a 2-19 to 1-10 success over Longford at Longford Slashers GAA Club.
Leitrim looked comfortable throughout this tie, and opened up a six-point interval lead.
Shane Ward and Michael Dolan netted the visitors' goals, while Niall McLoughlin converted Longford's lone three-pointer.
