Horan to reveal Mayo line-up

Mayo manager James Horan is due to announce his team tonight for Sunday's Connacht SFC final against Roscommon at Dr Hyde Park.

The Mayo squad played an internal practice match in Castlebar last Sunday, and Horan reports no late injury worries.

An in-form Barry Moran is expected to feature on the bench this weekend after being called up for training last week.

Ronan McGarrity sat out the A v B trial game with a leg injury, but should be fit for a substitute's role. Both McGarrity and Enda Varley were point-scoring subs in the 1-12 to 1-6 semi-final win over Galway.

Horan is not expected to make any changes to the side that saw off the challenge of Galway.

Trevor Howley is challenging for a place in the matchday squad after a three-week spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Horan told the Mayo News: "Every game we play we go out to work as hard as we can. We're looking at working hard for every ball, and keeping that going throughout the game, whether we're up or down.

"That's what we're looking to do, and getting some consistency into our game.

"It's two teams that aren't setting the world alight, but looking to do well, and it should be a competitive and exciting game."

The O'Shea brothers from Breaffy, Aidan and Seamus, are set to get the nod again in midfield, while there should be a vote of confidence for the starting forwards from the Galway match, who all scored.
