Kernan set for Galway talks

Joe Kernan is due to meet Galway County Board officials in the coming days to discuss his future as the county's senior football manager.

Kernan's first season in charge of the Tribesmen was clouded in disappointment, with a mid-table finish in NFL Division 1 followed by a Connacht SFC semi-final defeat to Sligo and an All-Ireland qualifier exit at the hands of Wexford.
