O’Loughlin gets the nod

Ger O'Loughlin has been ratified as manager of the Clare senior hurlers following a county convention in Ennis.

His appointment comes in the wake of Mike McNamara's departure earlier this week.

O'Loughlin's name was put forward as the successor to McNamara after the Scariff native tendered his resignation via letter at an emergency meeting of the Clare Co Board on Tuesday night.
