McEntee twins bow out with Crossmaglen
John and Tony McEntee have called time on their stellar club careers with Armagh outfit Crossmaglen Rangers.
The 32-year-old twin brothers, who retired from inter-county football in 2007, are bowing out following Crossmaglen's recent Armagh SFC quarter-final loss to Pearse Og.
Cross were bidding to extended their incredible national record run to 14 consecutive county titles - it was only the second defeat for the McEntees in the club's famous black and amber colours.
Together, they helped Cross win 13 Armagh SFC titles in-a-row, six Ulster titles and four All-Ireland crowns (1997, 1999, 2000 and 2007).
Tony was right half-back and John played at centre-forward in the Rangers side that beat Dr Crokes 0-13 to 1-5 in the 2007 All-Ireland club decider at Croke Park.
During their Armagh careers, they won six Ulster Championships, one National League and a memorable All-Ireland under the stewardship of Joe Kernan, the newly-installed Galway manager, back in 2002.
