Henderson stars as Armagh stroll past Wexford

A large crowd at Wexford Park were treated to a six-goal thriller as Armagh’s Ryan Henderson top-scored (4-03) as the visitors took a firm 13-point win.

Goals from Paddy Colfer and Eoin Fogarty kept Wexford in touch at the interval, but they trailed by 2-13 to 2-08 at the break following a brace of Henderson goals.

Wexford minus the exiled Redmond Barry failed to up their game on the restart with just one second-half point and although the Crossmaglen contingent weren’t on show for Armagh it mattered little as Henderson added his third and fourth goals.
