Galway stars win both GAA Player of Month awards

Galway have pulled off a double coup today, picking up both the latest GAA Player of the Month awards.

Padraig Joyce has been named Footballer of the Month after leading Galway to victory over Mayo in the Connacht final.

Joe Canning, meanwhile, has won the Hurler of the Month award after scoring 2-12 against Cork in the All-Ireland qualifiers.
