Govt to part fund overseas GAA promotion scheme

The Government and the GAA are to jointly fund a new initiative aimed at promoting Gaelic games abroad.

The scheme aims to provide coaching to young people in Britain and North American.

The Government says it will provide €250,000 to support the hiring of 10 coaches in Britain and another $100,000 (€64,200) to support four coaches in North America.
