Wexford GAA goalie retires - again

Wexford football goalkeeper John Cooper has announced his retirement - for the second time this year.

The Model County keeper decided to hang up his gloves after Wexford bowed out of the League in April - but changed his mind soon after.

However, the Adamstown veteran says this time the decision is for keeps.

In Limerick, Mickey O'Sullivan is set to continue in charge of the footballers despite their disappointing exit from the Championship at the hands of an under strength Louth side.

O'Sullivan has one year remaining on his contract, and will speak to his backroom team before making a decision.
