Tipp defeat Cork in dramatic Munster minor final
Tipperary has won the Munster minor hurling final today, beating Cork 18 points to 1-11.
It was a dramatic game at Semple Stadium, with the sides coming level twice in the first half, and Tipperary leading by a point at half-time.
Four of the Tipp side's first eight points came from Seamus Hennessy, who scored 10 in all during the match.
Cork took the advantage 14 minutes into the second period, when an excellent cross by Luke O'Farrell found Donagh Stack in the middle to blast Cork into the lead with a goal, making it 1-9 to 0-11.
Tipperary equalised seconds later, and took the lead with 12 minutes to go from a penalty, which Noel McGrath tapped over the bar.
Two more points from Hennessy and Maher gave Tipp the match, with a final scoreline of 0-18 to 1-11.
