Ross Carr appointed as new Down football manager

Down have appointed former player Ross Carr as their new senior football manager.

Carr, who also managed the Down minors in 2003 and 2004, will be assisted by DJ Kane, Declan Mussen and Michael Doyle.

The appointments were ratified at a meeting of the county board last night.
