Limerick skipper Ryan retires

TJ Ryan has announced his retirement from inter-county hurling just days after Limerick's All-Ireland SHC quarter-final defeat to Cork.

Ryan, who captained Limerick this season, is to bow out after 12 years with the senior panel.
