Tipp unchanged for Westmeath tussle
Tipperary manager Seamus McCarthy has named an unchanged side for Saturday's NFL Division 2B tussle with Westmeath (Semple Stadium, throw-in 2.30pm).
McCarthy has again included nine of the side that started last year's Tommy Murphy Cup final win over Wexford.
Corner-back Andrew Morrissey, wing-back and captain Michael Phelan and midfielder George Hannigan retain their places having made their league debuts in the 3-8 to 1-9 defeat of Sligo last Sunday.
Both Tipp and Saturday's visitors chalked up opening-day wins last weekend, with Westmeath topping the table courtesy of their 22-point thumping of Waterford.
TIPPERARY (NFL v Westmeath): P Fitzgerald; P King, N Kelly, A Morrissey; M Phelan (capt), R Costigan, C Maher; E Hanrahan, G Hannigan, A Fitzgerald; B Hickey, N Fitzgerald; B Mulvihill, D Browne, D O'Brien.
