McGrath brothers hit with suspensions
Waterford manager Justin McCarthy will have to make do without the services of Ken McGrath until the end of March following a hefty suspension for the 2002 and 2004 All-Star.
Former Deise captain McGrath has been banned for six months following his sending-off in Mount Sion's county semi-final loss to city rivals De La Salle on Sepotember 30.
McGrath's brother Eoin, who was also red-carded by referee Michael Kelly in the tempestuous tie, has received an eight-week suspension from the Waterford Games Administration Committee.
De La Salle emerged as 1-12 to 0-14 winners from the Walsh Park clash - the McGrath brothers both saw red, right on the final whistle, for an incident involving referee Kelly.
They both took issue with the official for his failure to award what looked an obvious free to 2004 champions Mount Sion in the final seconds.
