Ulster replay trio earn one-month bans

Tyrone defender Ryan McMenamin and Armagh pair Paul McGrane and Ciaran McKeever have each received a one-month ban from the the GAA's Central Disciplinary Committee.

The decisions, ruled on at a meeting last night and based on incidents arising from last month's Ulster final replay, will see McMenamin miss Saturday's All-Ireland qualifier against Monaghan and a possible quarter-final tie for the Red Hands.

McMenamin was charged with dangerous play for an incident with John McEntee.

Meanwhile, McGrane, who was charged with striking an opponent, and McKeever, the only one of the trio to be red-carded in the Croke Park clash, will both be suspended for Armagh's last-eight date against either Laois or Derry, or Monaghan.

The CDC also handed out one-month suspensions to Waterford's Shane Hearne and Dermot Kinsella of Wexford, who were both sent-off in Tommy Murphy Cup ties last weekend.

Following a personal hearing, the one-match pitch exclusion ban imposed on Clare hurling manager Anthony Daly was also lifted.
