Cork unchanged for Déise rematch
Cork manager John Allen has resisted the temptation to tinker with his side ahead of Sunday's All-Ireland SHC quarter-final against Waterford.
The Munster-title-winning Rebels will field an unchanged side at Croke Park this weekend as the race for the Liam McCarthy Cup hots up.
Newtownshandrum corner-back Pat Mulcahy has shaken off a foot injury to start, while 1999 Hurler Of The Year Brian Corcoran will take his place at full-forward having recovered from the shoulder injury which saw him replaced in the Munster SHC final against Tipperary.
Much of Cork's attacking focus will fall on Joe Deane again, with the pint-sized Killeagh sharpshooter having hit 1-8 so far this summer, and 1-3 in the Munster semi defeat of Waterford.
Sunday's clash will be the fifth championship meeting between the sides since 2002, with the Déise having prospered in 2002 and 2004 and Cork on top in both 2003's Munster final and May's provincial semi (2-17 to 2-15).
Waterford, who lost their final Group A qualifier to four-goal Clare two weeks ago, could switch their goalkeeper for the weekend, with regular Stephen Brenner under pressure from Ian O'Regan and Clinton Hennessy.
