Westmeath GAA book launched tonight

A book chronicling Westmeath's journey to Leinster provincial honours will be launched tonight in

Mullingar.

Westmeath — the Road to Glory is written by the county's PRO Patrick Doherty.

The book traces the progress of football in the Lakes County in the last 15 years, which brought All-Ireland minor and U21 wins in 1995 and 1999 respectively, and culminated in Leinster SFC championship glory this year.

Westmeath — the Road to Glory will be launched in the Greville Arms Hotel tonight at 8.30pm.
